LOCS Rankings: Top High School History, Science, and Geography Competitors of 2026

Throughout the 2026 International Academic Competitions season, the League of Competitive Scholars has been tracking the most consistent competitors across the United States in History, Science, and Geography competitions.

With over 2,300 ranked competitors this year, the LOCS Rankings incorporated performances in regional buzzer-based competitions, National Qualifying Exams, National Championship Exams, and buzzer-based competitions at the IAC National Championships held in Arlington, Virginia.

The LOCS Rankings aim to identify the most consistently successful competitors in the nation while encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones and compete across multiple academic disciplines to become more well-rounded scholars.

After an incredibly competitive 2026 IAC season, the League of Competitive Scholars is proud to announce the top High School (Varsity and Junior Varsity) competitors of the year.
